We’re OperationsInc, a Human Resources consulting company. They have recently purchased Suave brand in North America from Unilever. They have retained us to find a Business Analytics Manager to join the new team at Suave.

Suave is a leading personal care brand that sells products across hair care, body care, and anti-perspirant/ deodorant. This is an exciting opportunity to get in at the ground floor of this new, stand-alone company. Position Summary

The Business Analytics Manager will be responsible for generating data-driven insights related to business performance to inform strategies that drive growth and operational improvements for Suave Brands. This person will use KPIs, business performance data, industry trends, competitor intelligence and customer information to develop analytical tools, reports, and models that inform and support decision-making across all functions, with a particular focus on supporting Marketing. Candidate should be well versed in developing concise and actionable recommendations from large data sets, and ideally have experience working with quant-heavy research agencies (e.g., IRI, Nielsen, SKIM, etc.) Consulting experience a plus.

Primary Responsibilities Include the Following:

· Partner with cross functional teams to identify critical business questions, guide analysis, and determine optimal solutions rooted in data. Deliver clear recommendations which reflect a thorough understanding of broader business context and implications

· Provide thought leadership guided by objective insights and quantitative research / trends, and proactively identify ways to improve business results

· Support team as needed to answer specific business questions as they arise, utilizing POS, category trends, and other quantitative information to derive actionable insights and accelerate growth for Suave Brands

· Analyze and track KPIs for key marketing initiatives to measure their effectiveness; develop and distribute reports and performance dashboards designed to inform specific business decisions

· Summarize findings in clear, concise, insight-focused format to broader team

Primary Requirements Include the Following:

· Bachelor’s degree required, MBA preferred

· 5+ years experience in data analytics role, preferably within CPG space

· Experience working with at least one quant-heavy consumer research agency (e.g., IRI, Nielsen, SKIM)

· Strategy consulting experience a plus

· Ability to tell a story, pulling from multiple data sources to build a deeper, holistic understanding and derive actionable insights

· Ability to think strategically and creatively, with strong attention to detail
