Business Analytics Intern

Are you passionate about ensuring end users are delivered the highest quality product possible? The Business Analytics Intern will be responsible for supporting customer operations, creating reports, troubleshooting data issues, and ad hoc projects.

What we are looking for this role to do:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Make recommendations for process improvement opportunities and recommend system improvements by studying current practices
• Research discrepancies and identify root cause of errors
• Communicate with third parties on a daily basis*
• Implement processes to identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets*
• Place orders with banking partners
• Retrieve data from various reporting systems and use tools to generate recommendations
• Create daily, weekly and monthly reports*

What you need to bring to the table:

• Good interpersonal, communication and customer service skills
• Willingness and ability to make phone calls to banks to provide them with required data
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
• Must be available Monday through Friday from 7-10 am
• Ability to identify and communicate discrepancies in information
• Organizational skills, attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel and Outlook skills. Experience with common data analytics tools (R, Tableau, Python, SAS, Spark, etc.) and/or database software is a bonus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to effectively prepare materials and communicate your insights
