Business Analyst - Project Coordinator - Remote | Wfh

Occasionally, we might request your presence for an onsite meeting approximately once per quarter to foster collaboration, but please note that travel expenses for these occasions won't be reimbursed.
Position Overview
As part of the ReEmploy USA Consortium, a collaborative initiative encompassing three states sharing an Unemployment Insurance system, we are seeking a dedicated Business Analyst/Project Coordinator. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our system to better serve our customers' needs. Your contributions will involve facilitating communication and coordination across states, providing valuable insights for maintaining the solution, overseeing vendors, and supporting the Consortium's innovative "forever modern" approach. As a business analyst, you'll help maintain project documentation, lead and document meetings, contribute to technical documentation, collaborate with development and business teams, and contribute to efficient project management.
Role Requirements
Strong aspiration for a career path in project management.
Proficiency in organizational change and lean processes.
Sound understanding of project and program management principles.
Proven experience with software development life cycles (SDLC) such as SAFe, Scrum, and DevOps.
Solid grasp of UML or other modeling techniques.
Ability to support the PMO in tracking tasks, defects, and stories.
Skill in eliciting and documenting detailed functional and non-functional requirements, user stories, and use cases.
Aptitude in creating test scenarios and scripts for projects and defect resolution.
Capability to address emerging risks and issues.
Confidence in leading small project implementations with minimal supervision.
Ability to create and maintain system/application documentation.
Support for project setup and closure processes.
Experience Gathering Requirements Or User Stories.
Preferred CAPM certification, although not mandatory.
At least 1 year of experience with Java, Spring Boot, Angular, or similar technologies.
Proficiency in office automation tools (Outlook, Word, etc.).
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Minimum 1 Year Of Experience With Jira And Confluence.
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
A background of 3 years as a project coordinator or business analyst.
Education
A bachelor's degree in CIS or another technical field is preferred.
Preferred Experience
Experience in financial and budgeting aspects is a plus.
