The Business Analyst is responsible for working with business stakeholders to gather, analyze and document requirements for software systems. They work with software engineers, acting as subject matter experts, and perform quality assurance testing when needed.

Essential Duties

The essential duties for this role include, but are not limited to:

• Work in a fast-paced team environment while simultaneously managing multiple projects, responsibilities and deadlines with moderate oversight.
• Research third party applications and SaaS solutions, as needed, in order to support assigned product/domain.
• Additional responsibilities as assigned.
• Identify and close gaps in the acceptance of deliverables.
• Utilize experience and technical knowledge to provide product/domain support to the business.
• Identify and define stakeholder requirements for known software bugs and enhancements; Translate requirements for enhancements and bugs into user stories.
• Create and maintain necessary business documentation on application functionality and business process.
• Coordinate and conduct user acceptance testing.
• Conduct initial intake analysis on known software bugs and enhancements.
• Predictable and reliable attendance required.
• Monitor and validate deployments.
• Define and execute test cases for integration and user acceptance testing.

Qualifications

• Good communications skills, both written and verbal.
• 2-3 years of related working experience
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Detail oriented
• Proficient in understanding a variety of agile methodologies (i.e. Scrum, Kanban, and Scrumban).
• Analytical thinking and problem solving.
