Job Title: Business Analyst 2/Project Manager

Duration: 18 month W2 contract, could be extended

Pay rate: $35 - $40/hr on W2

This position is working with a major utilities company located in Southern California.

Description:

Day-to-Day Responsibilities/Workload:

Provide project management support

Track development progress against project timelines

Develop project status reports

Create, update, and maintain a Grid Mod training (data) dashboard

Analyze quantitative data and generate insights

Maintain instructional designers’ weekly reports

Assist with Train-the-Trainer (TTT) logistics; book training rooms, send TTT meeting invitations and track attendees; order breakfast and lunch (if applicable)

Assist with Training Delivery logistics; book training/meeting rooms, send meeting invitations and track attendees; order breakfast and lunch (if applicable)

Assist with testing training/test region accounts.

Manage training enrollments in SAP SuccessFactors Learning Management System.

Prepare presentation decks for meetings as requested

Record meeting minutes as requested and attend ongoing team meetings

Develop templates as requested by Training Program Lead

Assist with management/administration of Adobe Connect virtual training sessions

Compile post-training evaluation results and create reports as needed

Required Skills/Attributes:

•Advanced MS Excel skills

•Ability to integrate data sources into MS Access and Excel

•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

•Strong verbal and written communication skills

•Ability to self-manage and understand delegated objectives

•Proactive and strong attention to detail

•Ability to work in a dynamic environment with minimal direction

•Ability to multi-task and change direction quickly

•Team player with strong partnering skills

•Critical thinking - ability to recognize/understand how changes/decisions have an impact

Desired Skills/Attributes:

•Experience with Power BI

•Experience in MS PowerPoint, SAP, and training support activities

The candidate must possess the demonstrated ability to perform moderately complex quantitative analysis with the ability to gather, document, analyze and draw conclusions on data and information. Responsible for developing strategies that support business need for efficient and effective use of best practices. Identify requirements, approach, solutions, costs, risks and options to address business need. Lead implementation activities of an initiative, application or feature set. Responsible for project documentation including definition, requirements, conversion, testing, implementation and training. Able to priorities initiatives by assessing business value for effort and develop options. Collaborates with vendor to understand product direction, release strategy, and timeframe. Maintain a broad knowledge of current and emerging state-of-the-art computer/network systems technologies, architectures and products.
