Description:

Akridge is seeking Building Engineers! Applicants should have three to five years’ hands-on experience with building operating systems and obtained Universal CFC certification.

The Building Engineer is responsible for maintaining the mechanical, life safety, electrical, plumbing and hardware systems. The Building Engineer, in conjunction with the Chief Engineer, is also responsible for the preventative maintenance program for the property.

Duties will include repairs and preventative maintenance tasks including locksmith services, painting, basic electric, plumbing, mechanical, energy management systems and sustainability mandates.

The successful candidate will perform duties in a timely, conscientious manner and maintain good communication with the Chief Engineer, Senior Chief Engineers, Property Manager and all building Clients.
