Key Responsibilities

This position is responsible for maintaining a safe environment with the buildings managed by the Recreation and Parks Department, which include the Franklin Loebe Center and the Cultural Center. The Building Attendant supervises the assigned building. This includes the activites and the safety of the people utilizing the facility. The Building Attendant is responsible for greeting building renters and the public as well as setting up for daily room rentals. This position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the interior and exterior of the facility; including emptying trash, cleaning bathrooms, mopping floors, and washing windows. In addition, responsibilities include securing the facility.

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills

High School Diploma is preferred. Previous maintenance experience is desired. Excellent communication skills are necessary to perform this job.

Weekdayandweekend hours available generally up to 15 hours per week including mornings, afternoons and evenings. Shifts vary based on facility schedules and events. Must have open availability on the weekends.
