Sonoran Roots is excited to announce the upcoming launch of a new dispensary in Chandler, Arizona. We are currently seeking qualified budtenders with prior experience in the cannabis industry.

Budtender Role: As a Budtender, you will play a pivotal role in providing exceptional service to our customers. You will actively engage and assist customers by understanding their preferences and product needs. Educating customers on various strains, administration methods, effects, and safety precautions will be a significant part of your role. Serving as an ambassador for the Ponderosa / Sonoran Roots brand, you'll promote and inform customers about our offerings. Maintaining a clean and professional environment that aligns with our first-class standards is also a crucial aspect of this role.

Job Duties

• Outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Upsell products for higher ticket sales.
• Assist with product preparation and displays.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Greet visitors and customers warmly, both in-person and over the phone, fostering positive relationships.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Manage customer records and materials containing customer information responsibly.
• Operate the cash register, accurately processing payments and maintaining a safe and organized environment.
• Flexible with scheduling and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
• Keep cash and receipts organized for deposits and end-of-shift reconciliation.
• Attention to detail, ability to follow instructions, and reliability.
• Work in a high-volume sales environment, standing for extended periods.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers to enhance business growth.
• Weigh and record product quantities accurately.
• Must be 21+ years old and able to obtain and maintain an AZDHS Facility Agent Card.
• Balance cash drawers and inventory at the beginning and end of shifts.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Provide cannabis information and educate customers about strains, consumption methods, effects, and precautions.
