Job Description

:

The broadcast studio production specialist for the Seacrest Studio is responsible for providing quality content on the hospital’s internal CCTV network. This position works close with other studio staff to storyboard and vet new content, while also providing technical support on current live and pre-recorded shows.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM; in-office, not remote.

Essential Job Duties

  • Develop and edit weekly program guides and informational slides for digital and printable marketing materials
  • Manage, schedule, and create prerecorded content for distribution on our CCTV network
  • Produce special event/activity programming for various patient age groups
  • Effectively engage with patients, families, and staff to provide positive experiences in the studio
  • Assist with oversight and training of studio volunteers and interns
  • Maintain and operate all studio equipment
  • Perform all technical pre, live, and post-production responsibilities
  • Work closely with family support services and the studio staff on storyboarding and vetting age-appropriate content

Minimum Qualifications

  • Experience with Pro Tools and other digital audio workstations
  • Well versed in all Adobe Suite audio, video, and image editing software including Premiere Pro, Audition, After Effects, and Photoshop
  • Experience working with children ages 2-18
  • Experience mixing music and dialog in a live setting
  • Knowledge of IOS, Android, and Windows-based devices
  • Experience organizing, naming, and managing assets related to video and audio production
  • Well versed in camera operation including framing, white balancing, formatting, etc.
  • Experience operating video switchers, and key operation/creation in a live setting
  • Experience working in a fast-pasted environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience operating Castus or TriCaster video production systems in a live setting
  • Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast, Digital Media, Recording Arts, or similar field.
  • Experience with multi-track audio recording in a live setting
  • 1 year experience working or volunteering in a hospital setting with patients and families
  • Pro Tools certification and/or experience
  • Experience leading and educating adults and/or adolescence in audio and video tasks and responsibilities

  • Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate complex and delicate equipment with precision and accuracy. This includes frequent computer, phone, and cable set-up and use.
  • Ongoing need for employee to see and read information, labels, monitors, identify equipment and supplies, and be able to assess customer needs.
  • Expected to lift and utilize full range of movement to transport, pull, and push equipment. Will also work on hands and knees and bend to set-up, troubleshoot, lift, and carry supplies and equipment. Typically includes items of varying weights, up to and including heavy items.
  • Frequent interactions with customers that require employee to communicate as well as understand spoken information, alarms, needs, and issues quickly and accurately.
