Job Description

As the Web/Full Stack Developer you will develop front end solutions on our new web platforms for GM’s new electrified fleet. In this new team we need your best creative thinking to create a beautiful and intuitive experience that you are proud of. Come join us and let’s innovate!

Additional

Responsibilities

  • Build, test and deploy highly responsive web applications on our new platform
  • Provide ideas and suggestions on new features
  • Create API’s that will allow external partners to interact with our platform
  • Work with product team and UX/UI designers to integrate a functional front-end experience

Qualifications:

  • Web fundamentals: HTML, CSS3, JavaScript (ECMAScript)
  • Java or Kotlin experience
  • At least 3-5 years of relevant work experience
  • Solid understanding of accessibility (a11y) and internationalization (i18n) principles (practical experience preferred)
  • TypeScript
  • Proficiency with state management tools (Redux)
  • Experience integrating third-party APIs and good understanding of REST
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, or, equivalent combination of education and recent, relevant work experience
  • Experience working with MicroServices
  • Proactive, good communication, especially with remote team members
  • Preferred Qualifications:

    • TypeScript

    • Proficiency with state management tools (Redux)

    • Solid understanding of accessibility (a11y) and internationalization (i18n) principles (practical experience preferred)

    • Azure DevOps/Cloud experience

    • Java or Kotlin experience

    • Working knowledge with Agile/SCRUM methodologyre

  • Working knowledge with Agile/SCRUM methodologyre
  • Proficiency with testing JavaScript applications
  • Experience creating performant JavaScript applications using modern frameworks (React preferred)
  • Azure DevOps/Cloud experience

Actual base compensation within the identified range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.
