Brewer (Third Shift) Jobs

Position Summary:

This Brewer role will join a third shift brew team at a 100,000+ bbl brewery on 10hr shifts, 4 nights a week. This brewing position will focus on safely and efficiently operating the brew house and performing cellar operations according to SOPs.The third shift Brewer will be responsible for wort production, CIP operations, dry hopping, decanting, and centrifuging and will also be involved in creating hard cider, sugar brew, and fruit beer.

Essential Functions:

• Wort production on a 60bbl automated brewhouse.
• Being comfortable in production areas with pressure vessels, steam, hot water, confined spaces
• All other tasks as assigned.
• Cellar operations include dry hopping and yeast harvesting.
• Clean in Place (CIP) of brewhouse, fermenters, etc.
• Separation with Flottweg centrifuge and decanter.
• Following OSHA regulations about forklifts, chemical handling, Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO), confined space, etc.
• Basic Quality Assurance tests (Gravities, cell counts, pH test).

Job Requirements

• 1+ years working in a brewery preferred
• Availability to work overnight is required with possible evenings and weekends.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs
• Prior brewing experience preferred but not required
