In this role, a successful candidate will be an effective communicator and problem-solver and someone who is able to balance the needs and requirements of both Amazon and the vendor. This role is an ideal start to a dynamic career path at Amazon for an ambitious candidate who is eager to drive a business. The candidate will develop skills and work across all functional retail areas to grow and improve their vendor partner’s success on the Amazon retail platform.
Other Key Tasks Will Include The Following
  • Analyze sales and key metrics to identify business opportunities for top brands.
  • Coordinate and create launch plans for new brands launching on Amazon.ca.
  • Improve catalog quality to enhance the customer experience.
  • Provide recommendations to improve sales and margin
  • Manage site placements and promotions based on the vendor’s event calendar
This role is also responsible for inventory management, forecast generation, product launches, pricing, and conducting detailed analysis to identify opportunities to drive growth for the vendor and Amazon.ca.
Brand Specialist roles are in the General Management career path at Amazon. The general management career path offers the opportunity for advancement into a variety of roles including Marketing/Merchandising, Vendor Management, Product Management and Inventory Management.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 1+ years of account management, project or program management or buying experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience driving complex negotiations and terms discussions with external vendors
  • 2+ years of account management, project or program management or buying experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $47,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $103,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
