Pilot Project is seeking a dynamic individual as an addition to our Brand Team. We are on the hunt for an action-oriented, innovative individual who is passionate about the beverage industry, and skilled at using creative solutions to solve challenges to support our growing portfolio of Owned and Operated Brands. This is a Brand Manager position responsible for building and nurturing our in-house, Owned and Operated brands that are part of the Pilot Project portfolio. You will be responsible for growing monthly sales numbers, understanding market dynamics, executing brand activations and events, identifying key beverage trends, and overall building a thoughtful brand strategy to support the growth of Pilot Projects brands.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Initiate the development of O+O programs and execution including on-ground activation, and expanding upon our “liquid-to-lips” strategy for each of our individual brands
  • Develop O+O brand goals and targets. Set short-term/long-term brand objectives, growth targets, and strategy by analyzing market trends, consumer insight, competitor activities, current sales growth, and estimation of industry growth
  • Manage product portfolio by actively leading new product launches, demand forecasting, and marketing budget
  • P&L including budget management
  • Brand health, brand score monitoring, and campaign or marketing activity evaluation
  • Develop brand creatives and strong activation of media plan, ensuring activation relevant to Brand Strategy and Brand credentials
  • Brand sales, depletion, and trends
  • Collaborate with internal/external team members (sales team, distributors, and agencies) and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Lead the analysis and understanding of business variables, monitoring of competition, industry and consumer trends

    • P&L including budget management
  • Lead annual brand campaign plans to reach target consumers effectively/efficiently by developing comprehensive 360-degree plans including digital/social activation, channel connection plan

About You

  • Track record of exercising stakeholder management and influence across cross-functional internal teams / external partners
  • Experience working at a startup
  • Ability to work autonomously, be a self-starter, and ruthlessly prioritize
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant Brand Marketing experience, preferably within the lifestyle/consumer goods industry.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving capabilities with an action-oriented, resourceful, and energetic outlook to bring activations to life
  • All hands on deck mentality
  • Nice to have: Prior background in Sales/Trade Marketing
  • Be passionate about the beverage industry and launching/growing new brands
