We are currently hiring for a Bottle Washer Operator in our Chambersburg, PA location!

Our Production Teams are entrusted with the technical process that is cleaning and sanitizing our reusable glass bottles, and pasteurizing and bottling the dairy products we all know and love. Think mad chef meets an even madder scientist making the best chocolate milk around.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Double checking bottles leaving the washer for the filler line are up to cleanliness standards
• Emptying and cleaning rinse tanks, cleaning filters, and re-filling with clean water
• Cleaning floors and walls, wiping down the machine, removing trash
• Verifying that all spray nozzles are working properly
• Making sure the right bottles are being used and separating the wrong bottles for disposal or return
• Being responsible for bottle counts, ensuring they are correct for each run
• Ensuring all rinse tanks are full
• Troubleshooting any equipment issues (after the training period)

This position is Monday - Friday 6:30am – 3pm, some flexibility is required due to emergencies, workload, etc.

Physical Requirements

This position will be cross-trained to perform other functions and works in varying temperature zones – the bottle washer/production area gets hot at times, and there are refrigerated and freezer sections that house some of our products, so the incumbent will need to be able to enter those environments to work on tasks as needed. Along with being able to operate machinery, this person will need to be able to lift approximately 30-40lbs intermittently, navigate uneven surfaces and be on their feet for their shift.
