Job Description

Position Overview: As a bookkeeper at iTrust Wellness Group, LLC, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the financial health of the company. You will be responsible for a range of essential tasks including journal entries, bank reconciliation, month-end closing, payroll processing, invoice management, and accounts receivable. In addition, you will have the opportunity to support both the Accounting and HR departments by assisting with various administrative tasks as needed.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Proficiency in QuickBooks for efficient management of financial records.
  • Prepare and post accurate journal entries to ensure the accuracy of financial data.
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial and employee information with discretion.
  • Manage and organize invoices, ensuring proper documentation and payment.
  • Assist in employee relations, addressing inquiries and issues with professionalism and empathy.
  • Keep up to date with relevant accounting regulations and best practices.
  • Perform bank reconciliations to verify and track financial transactions.
  • Process payroll accurately and on time, including tax deductions and benefits calculations.
  • Prepare financial reports, summaries, and statements on a regular basis.
  • Assist in month-end closing procedures to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Collaborate with the Accounting and HR teams to support administrative tasks when required.


Qualifications:


  • Knowledge of HR administrative tasks is a plus.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong working knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks for streamlined financial management.
  • Discretion and integrity when dealing with confidential information.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Associate degree in accounting, business administration, or a related field is required. Bachelor's degree in accounting is a plus.
