Body Shop Technician Jobs

Join our Collision Center team! We need entry to journeyman level technicians (ask about our apprentice program or sign on bonus) to work in our state-of-the-art facility.

Essential Job Duties

• Comply with all Power’s safety rules, guidelines and standards
• Operate a variety of hand and power tools (e.g., welder, nitrogen welders, blocks, hammers, wrenches, sander, spray guns, etc.)
• Assist Production Manager with preparing a 100% Blueprint Repair Plan
• Complete dis-assembly of vehicle in order to ensure all needed repairs and parts are listed to eliminate supplements and create efficiency
• Plan work procedure for all operations listed as per industry and safety standards, quality check and meet delivery deadlines

Skill/Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age, have a valid driver’s license and be able to pass a background and illegal drug screen
• Multi-tasking; adapts easily to fast-paced environment
• Personable, friendly demeanor with “World Class” customer service approach to internal and external customers
• Ability to read and understand instructions and effectively communicate

Disclosures

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to walk, sit, bend, push/pull, stoop, kneel, crouch or reach frequently
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time during the repair of a vehicle
• Occasionally exposed to fumes, airborne particles, and/or caustic chemicals, hot, cold, wet or humid conditions
• Regularly exposed to work near moving mechanical parts and moderate to high noise levels
