Body Shop Estimator Jobs

• Triage, inspect, and analyze repairs needed to create a complete vehicle damage assessment/repair plan.
• Open repair orders.
• Complete estimate and proper documentation for each repair.
• Look up Toyota /Lexus Parts in database.

• Participate in daily production meetings.
• Update vehicle repair status and estimated repair completion daily.
• Stage vehicles with the shop coordinator for efficient vehicle repair flow.
• Control vehicle repair prioritization for efficient workflow and vehicle status.
• Provide a parts list needed for the repair of each unit and monitor the status of incoming parts orders.

• Team player with a collaborative mindset.
• Having exceptional abilities in both written and verbal communication.
• Prior automotive collision estimating experience is required.

• Capable of working independently with minimal supervision. Able to utilize good time management skills and prioritize work effectively.
• Maintain excellent work and attendance record with demonstrated flexibility to work overtime, including occasional Saturdays as needed.
• Ability to lift & carry up to 45 pounds as well as demonstrate full range of motion (bending, squatting, and standing for extended periods of time as well as pinching, grasping, and full use of hands).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office. Preferred experience with power apps and Power Bi reporting.
• Work effectively with teammates and within JM Family culture of Cooperation, Consideration, and Communication.

• Ability to work outdoors/indoors in non-climate-controlled environments and preparedness to adapt to changing weather conditions.
