Volunteer Board Member Description
Swift Youth Foundation is seeking dedicated individuals to join our Board of Directors! New board members will join a group of professionals contributing to an established non-profit bringing camp, after school, weekend programs through mentorship to children in the valley. This is accomplished by
• Advising and supporting staff through thought partnership in key functional areas
• Attending monthly board meetings to steward the organization governance
• Actively planning and participating in Swift’s annual fundraising events
• Helping set the organizational strategy in a yearly Board/ Staff Retreat
• Contributing financially to the organization through individual fundraising or donations
• Mentor at 2 after school programs to see Swift’s mentors and kids in action
Desired Skills And Experience
Experience one or more of the following fields
• Education, S.T.E.A.M.
• Law/Legal
• Finance, Accounting
• Fundraising
• Public Relations, Marketing
