In our eyes, it is a talented storyteller who has a keen awareness on trendsetting ideas in hospitality and knows how to promote effectively. Our ideal blogger/vlogger—possibly you—creates compelling and engaging blogs and is an upbeat, pleasant, and entertaining on-air talent in vlogs. You speak as well as you write: charismatically, controlled, and precise. You are perceptive and in-tune with local and national trends. Part of your arsenal of skills includes expressing specialized knowledge of topics and events related to hospitality, tourism, and social media. In your body of work, you prove that great SEO increases traffic/followers to any website and social platform and on any topic. Through it all, you foster genuine engagement with your audience.

Minimum Requirements

  • Ability to work a flexible, full-time schedule.
  • Ability to sit and type for extended periods.
  • Exceptional writing, research, communication, and public speaking skills.
  • Passion for storytelling and filmmaking.
  • Proficiency with computers, especially content management software, social media platforms, MS Office, and SEO keywords, a basic understanding of HTML.
  • Natural charisma.
  • 2 – 3 years’ experience in social media promotions.
  • Associates and/or bachelor’s degree in English, creative writing, communication, marketing/advertising, or any related field; or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong understanding of the target audience and industry trends.
  • Knowledge of modern filming and editing techniques.
  • 1 – 2 years’ experience with filmmaking and editing.
  • 2 – 3 years’ experience in writing blogs.
