Blockchain Protocol Engineer Jobs

This client is one of the largest blockchain development companies in the world building out household name applications across finance, DeFi, NFT’s and general Blockchain SaaS solutions. Most of their employees operate fully remotely and we are looking for staff across a number of disciplines with this top tier client.
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for:

• Designing, developing and implementing blockchain protocol packages
• Building core blockchain and enterprise technologies
• Using formal methods to test the correctness of protocols
• Optimising blockchain data structures, write crypto algorithms and protocol specifications
• Crafting and maintaining interfaces for API and Storage teams

Requirements

• Open to learning
• Comfortable with handling uncertainty and ambiguity
• Database and large-scale storage systems
• Distributed systems
• Experience working with language and compiler design or crypto engineering
• Experience with and/or interest in some of the following areas:
• Operating systems
• Cryptography
• Understanding we are a globally distributed, remote-first team
• Collaborative by nature
• Performance analysis and optimisation
• Big data processing systems
• Deep understanding of OOD/OOP distributed systems
• Blockchains
• Experience analysing data structures and algorithms and issues related to scale, security and availability
• Comfortable operating in an Agile environment
• Willing to give and receive feedback
• Designing and developing large scale, high availability software preferably in Java
