Job Description
Position Summary and General Responsibilities The Foxborough Regional Charter School (FRCS) is committed to expanding the Multi tiered Systems of Support available to students and families across the district. FRCS was awarded the “Supporting Students’ Social Emotional Learning, Behavioral & Mental Health, and Wellness through Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (Social Emotional Learning (SEL) & Mental Health (MH) Grant)” by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE), to support this expansion. The SEL/MH Grant Coordinator will be instrumental in assisting the district in executing the grant goals, in partnership with district leaders, building leaders, educators, instructional coaches and support staff. The SEL/MH Grant Coordinator will be part of the district culture team reporting directly to the Director of School Culture and Climate. Performance Responsibilities Maintain work plan, related to essential functions of the position Develop and maintain district wide calendar for administration of SEL/MH assessments and screeners, as well as, School Culture and Climate (SCC) surveys Partner with district and building level leaders to create and communicate building based SEL/MH screener and assessment implementation plans Support building based administration of SEL/MH screeners and assessments Partner with district leaders to create and communicate a district wide SCC survey implementation plan Support district administration of SCC feedback surveys Collaborate with internal and external supports to develop a system to collect, maintain, analyze and report out on MH data Partner with FRCS data team, information technology team, student support team and vendors to maintain digital dashboards and technical support for SEL/ MH and SCC related surveys, screeners and assessments Provide technical support to educators/staff, students and families navigating related digital platforms Coordinate professional development and/or related workshops for educators about administration of SEL/MH screeners and assessments et al Support continued development of district and school level systems for utilizing SEL/ MH and SCC data to assist with identifying and responding to individual student, class, school and district wide SEL/ MH and SCC needs Assist with identification of interventions that align with data derived from SEL/ MH and SCC surveys, assessments and screeners Collaborate with FRCS Outreach Team to develop communication to students and families about SEL/MH assessments/screeners, SCC surveys and related resources Aid in the design and implementation of policies and procedures that will support student Mental Health, Social, Emotional, Learning and Behavioral functioning; in addition to, Adult Social Emotional Learning and Positive School Culture and Climate. Required Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in education, social work, psychology, research or related field Minimum of two years experience at the school, district or state level, preferably in a similar capacity Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Google Suite including: Mail, Calendar, Contacts, Drive, Sheets, Documents, Slides Experience navigating digital platforms that collect data on student social, emotional and behavioral functioning i.e. Panorama and BIMAS Strong time management and organization skills Comfort with handling multiple projects, simultaneously as well as working with rapidly shifting priorities and targets High attention to detail, strong communication skills, both oral and in written Strong intrapersonal and interpersonal relationship skills and applied decision making skills Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in education, social work, psychology, research or related field Experience in program development, implementation and assessment Foundational knowledge of Multi-tiered Systems of Support, Child/ Adolescent Mental Health, and the CASEL Social Emotional Learning Framework
