Job Title: Licensed Behavioral Health Clinician (LPC, LCSW, LAPC, LMSW)
Shift: Full-Time
Job Hours: Flexible weekly hours (ex, 8 hours/day , four 10 hour days) Monday through Friday. After hours call rotation (phone only) for extra compensation! Flexible scheduling allows employee to work from office or at home via Telehealth
Job location/program: Outpatient Services – Newton Center
View Point Health proudly provides outpatient treatment to children, adolescents and adults. At the outpatient centers, we promote overall health and quality of life for individuals, youth and families through evidenced-based therapies and medication management to reduce the impact of mental illness, behavior challenges, and substance use.
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Provide psychoeducation around mental health, substance use, trauma, recovery
  • Participate in clinical supervision to increase competence and professional development
  • Complete all required documentation (daily clinical notes, assessments, treatment plans) in an accurate and timely manner (agency standard 24 hrs)
  • Completes diagnostic formulations and appropriate assessments on clients with mental illness and substance use disorders
  • Assist clients in identifying, developing, and sustaining appropriate natural support systems
  • Collaboratively formulate a treatment plan addressing issues identified in assessment
  • Performs other related tasks as assigned by the supervisor
  • Completes annual training requirements as outlined by agency and/or supervisor
  • Participate in on-call rotation to provide after hour coverage, via phone
  • Participate in regular team meetings to collaborate regarding shared clients, build and practice new skills, and stay up to date on agency administrative information
  • Provide short-term individual and group therapy using evidence based practice therapies for client with SPMI &/or SUD
  • Collaborate with other behavioral health and physical health providers to holistically address client needs
Minimum Qualifications
  • Must pass criminal records fingerprint check.
  • Masters degree in a related area from an accredited college or university AND associate licensure in the state of Georgia. OR
  • Masters degree in a related area from an accredited college or university AND full clinical licensure in the state of Georgia
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience providing ASAM or substance use specific groups
  • Previous clinical experience working in Community Mental Health Care with SPMI, SUD &/or Co-Occurring Disorders
  • Experience with Carelogic or other EHR/EMR
