Behavior Technician - Full Time

Salary: $20.00 - $25.00 / Per hour

The BehaviorTechnicianworksone-on-one withchildrenwithAutisticDisorder (AD),PervasiveDevelopmentalDisorder NotOtherwise Specified(PDDNOS), Asperger’sDisorder(AS) andChildhood DisintegrativeDisorder(CDD). Theimplementthe BehaviorPlan(BP) designedandmaintainedby a Program Supervisor andgather quantifiable data necessary fortheProgram Supervisorto evaluate the effectivenessoftheBP inachievingidentifiedgoalsandobjectives.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Providescrisis intervention
• Followsthe instructionsofthe BCBA/programsupervisor
• Providesbehaviorassistance/interventionstoassignedclients
• Performs other duties asassigned/necessary
• Implements behaviorplans
• Providesbehavior supportservices
• Documents session perpolicies and procedures

Minimum Requirements

• Minimumofone(1)year relevant experience preferred
• CurrentPPDorChestX-Ray (as applicableperstateand/orclientrequirement)
• Completedaminimumof12semesterhours(orequivalent)ofcollegecourseworkandcurrentlybe enrolledincourseofstudyleadingtoanassociate'sorbachelor'sdegree(psychology,education,socialwork,behavioralsciences,humandevelopmentorrelated fields);orhavecompletedaminimumof48semesterhours(orequivalent)ofcollegecoursework.
• High Schooldiploma or equivalent required
• Must be at least 18years of age
• Current CPRcertification
• Computer proficiency required
• Ability to effectively elicit/provide information to and from appropriate individuals (including, but not limited to, supervisors, co-workers, clients) via strong communication skills; proficiency in the English language may be required
