Job Description
Behavior Technicians at Potential Inc provide ABA therapy to children and young adults with Autism. ABA, or Applied Behavior Analysis, is an approach to Autism services that teaches skills and modifies behaviors through positive reinforcement. Our Behavior Technicians provide specialized attention to clients, working with one client at a time. Each client has a unique plan created to meet their specific needs and goals.


Experienced Behavior Technicians AND those new to the field are encouraged to apply. We provide 3 weeks of paid training that will prepare you to work with clients and to take the Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) exam.


Upcoming Training Classes *


September 5th - September 22nd


September 25th - October 11th


  • Must be available for full-time training (Monday - Friday, 9 am - 5 pm)


Part-time Behavior Technician Schedules


Monday - Friday, available between 8:30 am - 3:30 pm (no afternoons required)*


Tuesday/Thursday, available between 8:30 am - 3:30 pm*


  • Exact hours vary based on client needs


Locations


Candidates should have reliable transportation and be able to commute to our clinic in Warminster and to public schools, daycares, and private homes throughout Lower Bucks County. Flexibility to commute to our Newtown clinic is a plus!

Qualified Candidates Should Be Able To


  • Work with clients with varying levels of need
  • Receive and incorporate feedback from your clients' BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) in future sessions
  • Implement Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy programs following each client's treatment plan
  • Engage and keep up with children (aged 2 -18)
  • Accurately document client sessions by collecting data, writing session notes, and completing service logs/timesheets
  • Maintain client safety and confidentiality


Job Requirements


  • Ability to attend one of our 3-week training sessions (Monday - Friday, 9 am - 5 pm, in-person at our clinics in Newtown, PA, & Warminster, PA)
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Take the Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) exam after completing training
  • Pass mandatory background checks
  • Reliable transportation to see clients throughout your assigned region
