Behavior Technician - $19 - $22 / Per Hour


Registered Behavior Technician - $23 - $26 / Per Hour


Mid-Level Supervisor - $27 - $32 / Per Hour


The In-Home Behavioral Therapistassistsservicerecipients attain the goalsofthe individual care plan and sustain positive behavioral changes and improvements in functionality and quality of life.


Responsibilities


  • Demonstrates support of all outcomes for service recipients supported. (Identify, Autonomy, Affiliation, Attainment, Safeguards, Rights, and Health and Wellness.
  • Psycho-educational instruction related to mental health, including but not limited to, improved decision-making to manage behavior and reduce risk behaviors.

  • For Professional/Clinical level: In accordance with applicable Individual Care Plans, any Behavior Assistance/Intensive In-Community evaluations, and other reports, provide interventions including, but not limited to:
  • Maintain flexibility in clinical modalities and apply according to client’s needs and abilities. Use of play, art, music techniques can be provided if indicated
  • Parenting skill development
  • Ability to demonstrate a commitment to growth and improvement
  • Perform job duties in accordance with agency mission and values
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Health, dental, vision, and life insurance
  • Communicate in a professional manner with service recipients, employers, parents/guardians, area program staff, and agency staff
  • Promotes and/or protects each person’s rights, privacy, and confidentiality
  • Bachelor’sor Master’s Degree in a related field, such as social work, psychology, counseling, etc. Must be licensed in the state that the caregiver will be working and in the appropriate field
  • Complete all mandated supervision and training and maintain as required
  • Listen to and respond to the needs of service recipients, parents/guardians, area program staff, and agency management
  • Counseling

  • Must be 21 yearsof age or older and have no history of abuse, neglect, or exploitation of children or vulnerable adults. At least one year of documented relevant experience with children and families with mental health needs.
  • Stress reduction techniques
  • Any direct care provider may not provide interventions requiring skills, experience, credentials and licensure other than those allowed under the appropriate licensing regulations
  • Performsother duties as assigned/necessary
  • Transport service recipients as needed and clinical indicated
  • Ability to work as a member of a team, to complete tasks as instructed, be receptive to new ideas, and be creative in solving problems
  • Demonstrates the ability to be flexible, reliable, and dependable
  • Psycho-educational services related to mental health including, but not limited, to improved decision making skills to manage behavior and reduce risk behavior
  • For Supportive level: In accordance with applicable Individual Care Plans, any Behavior Assistance/Intensive In-Community evaluations, and other reports, provide interventions, including, but not limited to:
  • Abide by all agency policies and procedures
  • Group, individual, or family therapy
  • Clinical consultation/assessment
  • Document all activities in accordance with federal, state, and local requirements
  • Ability to offer and accept constructive feedback, encourage and support others
  • Instruction in anger management skills
  • Reliable transportation (including valid driver’s license, insurance, vehicle registration, and acceptable driving record within company insurance guidelines) is highly preferred so service recipients can be transported if needed. Must complete criminal background and other pre-hire requirements.
