Behavior Technician (100% Center-Based) Jobs

Pay Rate: $19 - $25 per hour

Do you have experience babysitting or teaching? Or maybe enthusiasm for playing with children and helping them learn new things? MeBe is looking for empathetic, thoughtful individuals who have a passion for working with young children to join our awesome team! Don’t stress; we provide hours of hands-on training to teach you exactly how to use play-based strategies with your kiddos! In our Learning Centers, we like to have fun and in our opinion, our Behavior Technicians have the most fun! Responsibilities:

• Have fun, be creative, and love what you do! (This part is almost too easy!)
• Teach and promote behavioral, social, communication, and daily living skills to young children with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental delays in a fun, play-oriented setting using programs that are developed for you by a Clinical Supervisor (BCBA)
• Maintain client confidentiality and a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Be able to recognize and respond to critical improvements in behaviors (Love that progress!)
• Effectively communicate positive feedback to clients and record objective daily data (We’ll teach you how!)
• Other duties as assigned
• Work in both one-on-one and group settings (We’re a collaborative bunch!)

Qualifications:

• Experience working with children
• Must obtain RBT certification within 60 days of employment (we'll help you!)
• Ability to pass a background check
• Must be at least 18-years-old with a valid identification
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (preferred)
• Must obtain CPR/BLS certification before working with clients
• High School Diploma (Required)
• Ability to frequently bend, lift (up to 30 lbs), squat, sit, stand, and/or run (with or without reasonable accommodations)
• Consistent availability from Monday through Friday (Preferred)
