Battery Applications Engineer Jobs

Mix Talent has an excellent opportunity as a Battery Applications Engineer in Troy OH!
You will be responsible for guiding the proper application of Lithium-Ion battery products for sale in the material handling equipment market.
Duties include:

• Review preliminary 3D CAD packaging studies for initial customer concept development and for final configuration fit check prior to sale
• Assist sales agents in understanding current product offerings and align demo requests with an appropriately configured product.
• Maintain knowledge of customer battery applications and use-case scenarios through direct interaction with the customer at the point of use.
• Champion change requests through Product Engineering to create new product configurations for customer applications and/or to resolve customer issues with current product interfaces.
• Assist Sales in capturing the voice of the customer with respect to product configuration, features, interfaces, and technical capabilities required for specific applications.
• Act as liaison between Sales and Product Engineering to initiate technical concept proposal development
• Develop and maintain technical presentation material for the purpose of communicating product application information to the customer and sales agents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or industrial technology
• Capable of performing mechanical fit checks in CAD software, SolidWorks preferred.
• 1-3 years with a focus on the electrification industry (Lithium Ion or the charger industry is ideal).
• Basic electrical/electronic diagnostic capabilities
• Relocation is available. Must be in Troy OH.
• Effective communicator, capable of concisely presenting highly technical proposals to internal and external customers.
