Responsibilities
  • Welcoming clients and consulting with them on their desired hairstyles.
  • Maintain documentation of work completed
  • Providing hairstyle suggestions to clients.
  • Styling hair using approved styling solutions and styling tools.
  • Shaving, trimming, and shaping clients’ beards and mustaches.
  • Protect client’s shoulders by draping and pinning protective cloths across their shoulders
  • Ensuring that combs, scissors, razors, and other instruments are cleaned and sanitized after each use.
  • Sweep floors and maintain clean and sanitary workstations.
  • Cutting and trimming hair according to clients' instructions.
Requirements:
  • The ability to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • State barber’s License required
  • Sound knowledge of current hairstyles and trends.
  • The ability to follow instructions.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • High school diploma or GED.
Preferred
  • Bilingual: English and Spanish (writing, reading, and conversational)
