Position Summary
To service all banquet events maintaining the highest quality service standards established for The Biltmore. This position requires consistent adherence to policies and procedures of the department as outlined in the Biltmore Standard Operating Procedures (BSOP’S).
Responsibilities
- Review copy of BEO with Captain during line up.
- Set up china, glass and silverware according to established guidelines in a timely and efficient manner.
- Prepare side station for service.
- Provide exceptional service during the service of meals, observing the Captains signals.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area at all times observing all safety rules.
- Report to work on time in proper uniform.
- Complete all assigned side work duties in a timely manner.
- Follow proper clearing and cleanup procedure.
- Follow proper beverage handling procedures.
- Check board to ensure the location of the room to work in.
- Provide continuous attention to details before, during and after the service of the meal.
- Ensure all guests receive a memorable experience from their stay at the hotel.
- Follow proper handling of hotel equipment.
