About the Job:

The Backend Automation AWS Test Engineer is a results-driven, team-oriented, self-motivated software quality professional who combines solid software testing credentials with emerging automation testing trends in the industry. This role will have the opportunity to bring innovations in software automation testing for delivering world-class, cutting-edge products to the 7000+ Taco Bell restaurants. The Backend Automation AWS Test Engineer will report to the QA Team Lead.

The Day-to-Day:

• Coordinatewiththedevelopment team to resolve issuesandproduct ownersto ensure correct functionality has beendeveloped.
• Create automation framework and develop automation scripts for systems built in AWS using Lambda, Step Functions, dynamodb
• Prepareappropriate testenvironments andlabs.
• Performbackend validation (API, DB,verifylogs),review software bug reports,and analyzetestresults.
• Collaboratewiththedevelopment team to understand the software andinfrastructuredesignand discuss the verificationprotocol
• Reviewrequirementsandtechnical design documents;create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and testcases.

Is This You?

• Proven accomplishments in creating automation framework and developing automation scripts that will test systems built in AWS using lambda, step functions, DynamoDB
• Hands-on experience testing applications on AWS with expertise in DynamoDB, S3, Lambda, and Step Functions
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or InformationTechnology; or equivalent years of experience
• Proven experience in testing API (Postman or similar tools)
• At least 3 years of hands-on manual testing experience with web-based applications

Salary Range: $90,900 to $129,360 annually + bonus eligibility + equity (if applicable) + benefits
