Qantas Engineering keeps us at the forefront of aviation, caring and maintaining both the Qantas fleet, as well as aircraft for our customers across the Asia-Pacific region. Based in Honolulu, your new role as a B1/B2 Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (LAME) will see you perform all aspects of scheduled maintenance on the Qantas Group fleet as well as client airlines.
You’ll have:
  • Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of staff within Qantas and other customers
  • Ability to work and reside in the United States
  • Commitment to quality, safety and continuous improvement principles
  • Extensive Aircraft servicing experience on various aircraft in a base/line maintenance environment
  • Proven problem-solving skills, particularly when under pressure
  • A B1 LAME licence on either B787 or A330 aircraft
  • Commitment to being a customer focused-team worker, with flexibility and willingness to undertake other reasonable duties as required.
  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of maintenance procedures
