: Your Piece of the Puzzle
Do you have knowledge in computing principles, looking to take it to the next level? As NFM’s Azure Cloud Architect, you will have extensive knowledge in converting technical requirements of a project into architecture and design that will guide the final product. You will plan, analyze, design, test, and deploy enterprise-scale Microsoft Azure cloud IaaS and PaaS solutions. This is a remote position requiring the candiate to reside in one of the following states: NE, IA, KS, MO or TX.
Job Duties: A Day in the Life

• Propose Learn and adapt new and emerging technologies
• Develop Apply technical expertise and business acumen in Microsoft cloud offering to promote innovative solutions for NFM
• Analyze Architect and design solutions to meet functional and non-functional requirements
• Collaborate Provide guidance on engineering methodologies, standards and practices
• Provide technical direction and lead a group of one or more architects to achieve a goal

Qualifications: Can You Check These Boxes?

• Knowledge of Cloud Disaster Recovery methods and Tools
• Experience with Azure Networking services (e.g., VNETs, Load Balancers, Front Door, ExpressRoute, Traffic Manager, Content Delivery Network)
• Experience with Cloud Automation and Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, PowerShell, ARM, Azure Automation)
• Bachelor’s degree with area of specialization in Information Systems or related field.
• Experience with Azure-native Resilience (e.g., VM Availability Sets / Zones, Paired Regions, Storage Geo-Replication)
• Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD Pipelines, and related tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Ansible, Terraform, Docker)
• Experience with Azure Subscriptions, Management Groups, and Policy-as-code
• 12+ years overall IT industry experience
• Pre-employment screening includes, but isn't limited to, criminal background check
• 5+ years’ experience with Cloud Strategy, Architecture, Migrations, leading teams/project management
• Experience with Azure Security and Identity services (e.g., Security Center, Azure Active Directory, RBAC, NSGs / ASGs)
