: DevOps Engineer (AWS with Terraform)

We are seeking a skilled and experienced DevOps Engineer with expertise in Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Terraform to join our dynamic team. As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines. Your focus will be on automating processes, improving system reliability and scalability, and ensuring efficient and secure deployment of applications and services.

Responsibilities:

-Design and implement AWS infrastructure using Terraform, adhering to best practices and industry standards.

-Build and manage deployment pipelines and CI/CD processes for application releases and updates.

-Collaborate with development teams to ensure applications are cloud-ready and optimized for deployment on AWS.

-Automate provisioning, configuration, and orchestration of AWS resources and services.

-Monitor and troubleshoot system performance, availability, and security issues in AWS environments.

-Implement robust backup and disaster recovery solutions for critical systems.

-Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth deployment and operations of applications.

-Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS services, Terraform features, and DevOps best practices.

-Continuously improve system reliability, scalability, and security through automation and process optimization.

-Participate in on-call rotations and provide support for production incidents.

Qualifications:

-Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

-Strong experience with AWS services and infrastructure, including EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, Lambda, IAM, etc.

-Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools, particularly Terraform.

-Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS CodePipeline.

-Solid understanding of Linux/Unix systems administration and networking concepts.

-Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes is a plus.

-Strong scripting and automation skills using languages like Bash, Python, or PowerShell.

-Familiarity with configuration management tools like Ansible or Puppet.

-Knowledge of security best practices and experience implementing security controls in AWS environments.

-Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with a strong attention to detail.

-Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
