Dollar Bank is hiring for an AVP, Strategic Operations. In this role, you will provide strategic operational support to the Bank for various projects. You will be part of a department that supports these initiatives to ensure implementation is facilitated in the most efficient manner, while considering streamlining processes, weighing risk, and customer service.

Principal Activities

• Partner with Quality Management to test system projects to ensure that the end-product meets the project definition
• Provide guidance on new system implementation to conform to our business practices
• Understand branch and back-office processes for deposit and loan accounts
• Facilitate meetings and meeting minutes as needed
• Develop a strong knowledge of system processing for the core, teller, platform, cards, and lending systems
• Consistently look for improvement to processes to gain efficiencies while balancing risk and customer service
• Work with internal resources as well as vendors (if applicable) to define requirements
• Create process guides for affected processes
• Understand the Bank’s product offerings and fee structure
• Support other department functions as required
• Partner with areas of the Bank whose processes are affected by the project
• Participate in defining the approach to approved strategic bank system projects.
• Understand regulatory compliance to ensure the bank remains complaint when implementing system changes

Minimum Qualifications

• Five (5) years of banking experience to include strong knowledge of branch operations and procedures as well as regulatory compliance
• College degree or commensurate experience
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Problem solving and analytic skills
• Must be detail oriented and able to switch tasks efficiently
• Proficiency in Word and Excel
• Strong knowledge and understanding of teller, platform, and core banking systems

Schedule Information

Monday through Friday, 8:15 AM to 4:30 PM. Overtime may be required according to business needs.
