Av Design Engineer Jobs

The Design Engineer is a front line position for the company that entails all technical facets of proposal generation. Core responsibilities include creating complete technical bid proposals from specifications generated by others, leading and facilitating programing sessions with Sales and customers to generate design build specifications, and all aspects of technical project support.
Build Engineering duties are included in this position; these elements include but are not limited to line drawings and rack elevations, project detail pages, architectural plan and RCP drawings, other associated detail drawings, management of the Propose file and generation of complete equipment lists for assigned projects.
Qualifications and Skills:
A. Education:
A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is requested for this position. In lieu of a degree an equivalent amount of experience and education may be considered.
B. Certifications:
AVIXA CTS-D certification must be held.
C. Software Skills:
A high level of proficiency with MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, and company software applications is required for certifications and specific project tasks.
D. AutoCAD Skills:
An expert level working proficiency with AutoCAD (current version), skill set should include (but not limited to) knowledge of layering, understanding of x-references, mastery of basic drawing skills and file manipulation.
