Job Description
Johnson Motors of Menomonie, Inc. is looking to add an automotive service advisor to our dealership in Menomonie, WI. This is an excellent opportunity to be a part of a thriving family owned company that values customer service and takes pride in their work!
Automotive Service Advisor Responsibilities:
  • Listen to customers’ account of issues and symptoms to better understand what the problem is
  • Calculate and provide customer with an estimate of these expenses for resolving the problem
  • Draft order for repair with all information that has been gathered outlined clearly
  • Record information gathered from each visit in appropriate database
  • Verify warranty, insurance or contract coverage for service
  • Greet customers and provide the level of customer service that meets the standard of excellence that Johnson Motors and Ford are known for
  • Explain process to clients so they understand what to expect and when their automobile will be repaired
  • Work with supervisors, repairmen and the rest of team to provide a positive and expedient resolution for clients.
  • Perform inspections to narrow down what the cause of the problem may be

Automotive Service Advisor Qualifications:
  • Must be a motivated self-starter with the ability to multi-task
  • Must maintain a professional attitude and appearance
  • Must be able to work in a fast paced environment
  • Must have excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Must be able to build and maintain a positive customer rapport
