As parts support, your main duty will be to pick up and deliver parts and equipment to customers, dealerships, satellite stores, wholesale accounts, and vendors. Listed below are some other duties that will be part of the normal job duties for this position.

• Handles basic maintenance of the truck and forklift including filling tank with gas, propane keeping them clean, and notifying the parts manager of any repairs needed.
• Checks with the parts manager, parts counter staff before leaving to coordinate any last-minute pick-ups or deliveries.
• Delivers parts to body shop, and Service department when needed and distributes to appropriate technicians.
• Helps maintain the professional appearance of the parts department.
• Advises parts manager if delivery trucks need major repairs and maintenance.
• Checks with the Counter staff each day to determine immediate parts needs.
• Helps with stocking and putting away part orders when they arrive to expedite delivery to shop technicians and wholesale accounts.
• Verifies that invoice part numbers and quantities match purchase orders for each pick-up.
