Beck Toyota is searching for an experienced Automotive Parts Manager to join our management team! The Parts Manager is expected to:
Oversee all aspects of the Parts Department
Maximize sales volume and gross profit for the Parts Department
Maintain high standards of customer satisfaction in the parts department
Ensure associate satisfaction within the parts department
Provide disciplined inventory management to achieve maximum results
Foster an optimistic, exciting, nurturing environment for all Parts Associates
Maintain control over all issues related to the profitable operation of the Parts Department with a focus on maximum net profit retention
Protect customer privacy by complying with all directives of the company's Information Security Program
Uphold high ethical standards, work habits, and customer satisfaction in alignment with our Company Creed
Primary Duties include:
Daily monitoring of sales performance by all Parts Counter associates in relation to forecast using daily tracking tools
Tracking of ASR parts availability and lost sales daily
Overseeing parts obsolescence on a daily basis
Supervising Toyota's stock order process and parts obsolescence return process
Ensuring the timely return of all parts and cores to secure full refunds from vendors
Collaborating with other Fixed Operations department managers on daily problem resolution
Keeping track of the CSI index for the current month and taking corrective action for negative results
Reporting to the General Manager on all aspects of Parts Dept. operations, identifying problem areas, performance against goals, CSI progress, etc.
Working daily with individual Parts Counter associates on sales performance, up-sell opportunities, CSI issues, etc.
Monitoring expense conditions and collaborating with the General Manager and controller for resolution
Keeping an eye on Asset Management conditions related to the Parts Dept. such as Open Parts Tickets, Parts Days Supply, Parts Obsolescence, Special Order Parts, Parts WS Receivables, Parts Returned Checks, etc., and providing problem resolution through disciplined action plans
Ensuring daily instruction and formal training is adequate for all associates to achieve individual job objectives successfully
