DATTCO currently has a full-time mechanic opening at our School Bus Fleet Maintenance location in Durham, CT.

Compensation of $21-$34/hour, depending on experience.

Primary Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the proper hand tools to perform job functions
• Makes road calls
• Performs diagnostic and repair work on all types of vehicles
• Completes required paperwork with regards to repair orders and parts usage
• Performs scheduled preventive maintenance and service inspections on a variety of vehicles
• Follow orders of the shop foreman or other supervisor

Position Requirements

• Hold, or be eligible to possess, a CDL license
• Mechanical aptitude
• Possess the physical strength to safely perform all required tasks
• CT driver-s license
• High school diploma, trade school or equivalent.
• Minimum of one-year experience in the field of automotive, truck or bus repair
• Hold, or be willing to work toward, ASE certifications
