AutoCAD Drafter/CAD Technician/Design Technician – Baltimore, MD

We are seeking a Drafter to join our rapidly growing team in Baltimore, MD. As our Drafter you will be responsible for revising existing drawings and preparing drawings of utilities and pipelines. This is a great opportunity that will provide continued professional growth as part of the established mentor program.

Responsibilities

• Apply client standards for drafting activities.
• Provide an accurate accounting of time spent on projects.
• Work with vector and raster drawing files in AutoCAD, or MicroStation.
• Review all work for completeness and accuracy prior to submitting for engineering review.
• Maintain current knowledge of design and drafting procedures.

Requirements

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
• Entry-level position (zero to two years of professional drafting experience).
• High school diploma and coursework in drafting technology or specialized CAD certification.
• Previous internship and/or related consulting experience preferred.
• Associate degree in computer-aided drafting and design is desirable.
