B&J Collision Center is located in North Little Rock, Arkansas and is currently looking to hire a qualified auto body technician. We are a fast paced independent auto collision repair facility located on 3004 East Broadway St, a block down from Interstate 30 and the Verizon Arena . We service all makes and models, specializing in detailed custom work. We strive to satisfy all customers by meeting their needs and providing great customer service.
Ideal candidate will possess the following qualities:
· Auto Body Vo-Tech certificate strongly preferred; otherwise must have demonstrated experience and aptitude in mechanical/automotive arena:
· Minimum 2-5 year hands on experience or 2-5 years’ experience including education training
· Excellent work ethic and attitude
· Drive to learn new skills and advance your career
· Must enjoy working on cars and trucks
· Be Mechanically inclined
· Have self-confidence
· Take pride in their work
· Be physically fit to lift, bend and work both with manual and power tools.
· Be willing to work as a team
Auto Body Technician Skills:
· Restoration of Damaged Vehicles
· Knowledge of Welding
· Properly install New Parts
· Good Hand eye coordination
· Knowledge of use of hand and power tools
Repair Preparation Skills:
· Masking
· Applying Primers
· Final Sanding
· Knowledge of Parts Disassembly
· Prep for Painting
· Reassembly
