Attorney Judicial Law Clerk

Full-Time Attorney Judicial Law Clerk at Eaton County Circuit Court. The position is 40 hours per week, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Salary Scale Range is $45,094 to $58,656 annually. Placement on the scale is based on qualifications.
Duties include performing legal research, drafting memos, acting as bailiff for jury trials and general clerk duties related to the office of Honorable John Maurer. The position is available effective immediately and is approximately for a 12-month period.

Position provides health insurance benefits.

Employees hired after or employed as of February 1, 2023, are eligible to receive a retention stipend of $2,500 if they remain employed as of July 31, 2023. Employees who remain employed through January 31, 2024, will receive an additional $2,500.

Minimum Qualifications
Must be a law school graduate or anticipated graduation and awaiting results of the State of Michigan Bar examination or scheduled to take the next available exam in July 2023.
