Job Description

As the Assistant Director of Clinical Services, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with our Director of Clinical Services and clinical teams to contribute to that mission. These passionate team members will depend on you to maintain clear communication on patient, personnel, and service management and to be a reliable go-to problem solver.
On an average day, you will
  • And perform additional, related duties as needed
  • Lead the clinical team by supporting recruitment, onboarding, training, performance management and corrective action, and competency testing
  • Promote, review, and evaluate the quality and appropriateness of patient care practices
  • Coordinate clinical team schedules and assignments
  • Review patient care through ongoing communication with nursing staff and case managers;
  • Plan, implement, and supervise in-service training for all clinical staff, including CNA's monthly

Qualifications/Desired Skills

  • Have an active Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Are passionate about providing the best possible care to patients and their families

  • Have at least 1 year of nursing administration experience, preferably in hospice
  • Have at least 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in hospice
