Associate Qc Scientist - Microbiology

Nature's Sunshine is looking for the best Associate QC Microbiology Scientist to join our Team, providing the highest quality products for our Customers to share the healing power of Nature!

• The required schedule will be weekly: 8:30 a - 5:00 p, Monday - Friday

Summary

• Comply with cGLPs and GMPs
• Prioritize assignments to ensure release of raw materials and finished products within required timelines
• Testing of raw materials, finished products, and work-in-progress samples for microbiological contaminants
• Other duties as assigned.
• Work with environmental testing and allergen programs to ensure compliance
• Work with probiotic and spore testing to ensure products meet specifications as listed

Qualifications

• Education or experience in microbiology, math, and chemistry
• Lab experience preferred
• Experience with GMP and GLP requirements
• Experience using laboratory equipment and documentation systems
• Bachelor's degree in a scientific area, preferably microbiology/biology
• Experience testing natural products and ingredients
• Experience with environmental and allergen testing
• Experience writing reports and communicating results
