Associate Or Part Time Dvm

Looking for a part time DVM mainly for surgery and dentistry; 3/4 to full time if seeing drop off or appointments as well, scheduled accordingly.

Equipment includes: Digital dental and full body XR, ANTECH labs, in house CBC/Chem/UA, Truforma cortisol, Versa Ultrasound, tonopen, Summus C4 laser, PRP; Vetter PIMS

Responsibilities

-Surgery mainly spays and neuters (including large breed young adults), mass removals, nares alarplasty; occasional cystotomies, toe and tail amps, nictitans and eyelids; very occasional FB and vulvoplasty

-COHATs to supervise pre and post extractions rads, ability to extract all types of teeth (the canines, upper PM, lower Molars) as needed; do not expect full mouth stomatitis extractions unless willing and experienced

-Assess drop off patients and make DX plan for techs to performs labs, XR, TX as needed; relay results to O

-Write records same day

Techs place IVs, induce, intubate, monitor, recover

Qualifications

Clear and respectful communication with staff, no drama; prefer 1-2 years experience but will consider new grad

Usually schedule 2-7 surgeries (depending on type) or 2 COHATs per day
