Job Description
We are a high growth startup backed by one of America's top furniture retailers. We are looking for an Associate Online Merchant to implement digital merchandising strategies to drive the online consumer journey, including collections, online content features, etc. You are a dynamic team player, creative thinker who has fun tackling complex problems at scale, and a strong relationship builder who thrives in a fast-paced environment. This role is hybrid work at our offices in either the Atlanta or the New York City area.


Responsibilities


  • Create strong partner relationships to keep data up-to-date and compelling
  • Create a compelling online product experience, including inspirational merchandise presentations, simple and intuitive category navigation, and clear and accurate product details
  • Work with product and analytics to scale merchandizing efforts
  • Provide merchandise assortments, proposed landing pages and review inventory for marketing emails
  • Maintain and update site taxonomy based on seasonal collections and new product categories. Determine appropriate refinements to include on product listing pages
  • Onboard new partners on to the site
  • Translate marketing initiatives into compelling collections and furniture and category pages that reflect the brand while creating an exceptional customer experience
  • Propose in season updates to merchandising and campaign plans that reflect updated priorities and inventory positions
  • Assort products into the site taxonomy and assign refinement values for all new products on the website


Qualifications


  • Must be highly detail-oriented
  • 2+ years of experience in site merchandising
  • Nice to have: Understanding of furniture industry trends and customer needs
  • BA or BS in a related field
  • Nice to have: Affiliate platform or marketplace experience
  • Flexible and quick learner able to adapt to a constantly changing digital environment
  • Strong computer skills; experience using Microsoft Excel
  • Able to organize and prioritize workload to meet deadlines
