Associate Membership Accounting Specialist (Remote)

Description

Providence is calling an Associate Membership Accounting Specialist who will:

• Provide customer service for member eligibility, premium billing, payments reconciliation, and state and federal regulations
• Research, investigate and resolve member and employer issues
• Manage small to medium employer groups and individual accounts (member eligibility, enrollment, system configuration, premium billing and payment reconciliation)

Additional Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with other departments/ teams to address concerns or complaints
• Assist with developing procedures
• Develop industry knowledge, stay abreast of regulatory changes and requirements
• Take initiative to bring up issues and concerns, make recommendations for resolution

We welcome 100% remote work for residents of the State of Oregon and the city of Vancouver, WA.

Required qualifications for this position include:

• 1 year experience working in a customer service environment or successful completion of a Providence Internship. Work experience may include: Medicare / Medicaid Customer Service, Medicare / Medicaid Enrollment

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

• High level of accuracy with data entry
