A Growth Equity firm located in Tennessee that operates within the Software/Tech field is looking to add on 1-2 Associates to their growing deal team and is flexible with the start date. The firm has experienced great returns up to this point and has even gained national recognition for some of their successful investments. The firm places heavy emphasize on doing business with southern hospitality. This is not only limited to the firm's culture, but also to their heavy giving culture and obligation to act with strong morals in all they do. In addition to doing exciting work for a firm with great culture, they also offer an extremely competitive compensation for the the region ($525k+ all-in Manhattan equivalent).

Private Equity Associate Responsibilities:

• Diligence and execute private equity investment opportunities and transactions across various industries
• Evaluate and monitor the ongoing performance of portfolio company investments
• Create investment presentations and transactions memos regarding new investment opportunities
• Participate in fund raising presentations and marketing
• Financial modeling including analysis of financial statements, valuations, returns, and competitive ratios
• Investment sourcing and evaluation including building and managing sourcing channels, deal flow, and helping prioritize transaction pipeline.

Private Equity Associate Qualifications:

• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Experience in software/tech is a huge bonus but not required
• Strong GPA from a top university
• Exceptional modeling and analytical skills
• Ability to speak on tech companies currently in the market
• (firm is open to PE Associates looking to lateral if have banking experience)
• A desire to live and work in Tennessee.
• 1-3 years of Investment Banking Experience
