Salient Strategic is a licensed investigation agency based in Beacon, New York. We offer a range of investigative services to clients located in New York City, Long Island, and the Hudson Valley.

Role Description

This is a part-time Associate Investigator role with hybrid flexibility located at our Beacon, NY office. The Associate Investigator will be responsible for conducting investigations and surveillance, performing background checks, organizing case files, and writing reports. The Associate Investigator will also be expected to maintain accurate records and communicate efficiently with team members as necessary to positively resolve problems as they arise.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail with strong organization and time management skills
• Experience with security and investigations software
• Strong research and analysis skills
• Ability to work independently and with a team
• Good communication skills, both oral and written
• Willing to take calculated risks
• Willing to submit to periodic drug screening
• Able to pass criminal background check
• Associate's degree or higher in Criminal Justice, Security Management, or related field

Preferred Qualifications

• Military service in one of the following: Infantry, Intel, SOF
• Law enforcement experience of 5+ years / Active LEO
• Experience in surveillance and covert investigations
