Job Description

KorInsight, Inc. is looking to hire an Associate Director / Director of Medical Affairs who will help provide full-time consulting services to one of our biopharmaceutical client partners in the gene therapy/editing space.

Location: Remote


Job Type: Contract role, with opportunity to extend and/or convert to FTE position


Weekly Hours: 40


Responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:

  • Assistance with the development of abstracts, posters, oral presentations, and manuscripts
  • Assistance in the development of educational videos and slide decks
  • Scientific symposia planning and content development
  • Provision of subject matter expertise to cross-functional client partners
  • Advisory board planning, content development, and creation of post-meeting deliverables
  • Development and maintenance of scientific communication platforms
  • Publication plan development
  • Assistance with the implementation of a new publication management system
  • Analysis of medical literature to inform medical strategies and tactics
  • Scientific congress planning and execution
  • KOL identification and relationship management


Qualifications

  • Travel may be required 10% of the time
  • Ability to foster relationships, build alignment, negotiate, and collaborate with cross-functional client partners
  • Exceptional work ethic and organizational, time, and project management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Scrupulous attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Doctoral level degree (Ph.D., Pharm.D., or M.D.) with minimum of 5 years of bio-pharmaceutical industry experience within medical affairs/medical communications
